Automotive Technical Services was founded 32 years ago to help the service industry that have a fleet of vehicles from as few as 2 to as large as 800. We track mileage as well as perform all regular service to breakdown repairs. With almost 50 years experience, we offer the most up to date diagnosis and repairs available at a reduced cost from other shops.

Offices are located in Charlotte, Gastonia, Kings Mountain and now our newest location in Hickory, NC. Our service area covers about 10 counties in North Carolina and up state South Carolina.

The advantage of us over the others is that we come to you at your location at a reduced cost to the brick and mortar type shop. We are licensed, insured and your vehicle and employees are not waiting in line at the shop to be serviced, wasting valuable time and resources. Services are scheduled at your convenience. If your company fleet is managed or owned by a fleet management organization, we are registered with most all of them to perform all services and repairs.
Health Care companies and Assisted living facilities find us invaluable due to our wheelchair lift repairs and preventive maintenance programs and scheduling work around patient's doctors appointments and activities.
Automotive Technical Service is a full service repair facility that will perform preventive maintenance and most all repairs at your location. I have over 50 years of professional experience in truck and automotive repairs with specialized training in driveability diagnostics, electrical repairs and computerized on board engine controls.

With five decades of experience we offer the most up to date diagnosis and repairs. We can prevent wasteful vehicle down time and help improve employee productivity and company profits by reducing employee down time with timely repairs and transportation to and from a repair shop. We will track mileage and set up a maintenance schedule to best suit your companies needs and convenience. Commercial vehicles, for the most part, are abused. With our maintenance program, 90% of major problems with these vehicles can be eliminated by spotting and correcting problems before they arise and lead to more costly repairs.
